Ancient Colombian metalworking societies projected images of the cosmos on ornaments, containers and offering figures. Because of their profound symbolic associations, metals (and particularly gold), were favorite materials for expressing these images. These objects became depositaries of universal movements, as well as climate and agricultural cycles.
